Hi, I’m Hugo Sousa, a destination wedding videographer and photographer from Lisbon, Portugal. 

I document inspiring people’s stories about love, family and friendship around the globe.

My main motivation is love. It’s hard to put into words how rewarding it is to meet fascinating people from different cultures and backgrounds, listen to their life stories and realize that in the end, love unites us all and we’re all more alike than we can imagine. 

Beauty lies in simplicity but simplicity is deceiving because it is not always obvious. This reflects my simple, modern and artistic approach to wedding storytelling. 

My approach is not invasive or intrusive but attentive and always with a helpful attitude. Being like this made me realize people would be more comfortable near me, therefore, acting, and feeling in their most natural way.

For me, it’s all about raw and real emotions. Such important moments, like the most subtle gestures, have the power to sum up entire lifetime relationships.

Luckily it has been my life’s work to capture, with immense privilege, beautiful, unique and timeless stories in a joyful and honest way that you can keep and remember for generations.
